How it works
We make it quick to reach a tree company that works near your address in Ouachita Parish.
You call or send a request
Tell us your community and what's going on: a tree to remove, storm damage, a dead pine or water oak, stumps to grind, or limbs to trim back.
We connect you with a local company
Calls and requests go to an independent tree service that works in the Monroe and West Monroe area.
The company handles the job
They quote, schedule and do the work. Pricing, warranties and terms come from them directly.
What we are and aren't
Monroe Tree Removal is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews or employ technicians, and we don't set prices. Using the site is free for homeowners.
Louisiana requires an arborist license from the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry's Horticulture Commission for anyone who does tree removal, pruning or trimming for a fee, and an out-of-state license doesn't count. Licensed arborists must show proof of liability and, if applicable, workers' compensation insurance, and must use a written contract that spells out the work and the price. Ask for the license number and check it against LDAF's list of licensed arborists, ask for a current certificate of insurance, and get a written contract that says what's being cut, how brush and wood are handled, and whether the stump is included.
